Hello! Precept and Promise is a project run by me, Grant Haines. I am a member of the Cornelius Church of Christ in Cornelius, Oregon, a group of Christians seeking to follow the commandments given to us in the Word of God.

This blog is a personal project of mine that I have wanted to start for a long time, and I’m finally getting it going. My intention is to take many of the lessons, classes, invitations, and general thoughts that I have put together in my work with the church here and put some of those ideas out on the internet where there can be a permanent record accessible by anyone who is interested.
